Li Yongfeng welcomed Vice President's visit, reviewed the history of cooperation and looked forward to the future cooperation between the two sides. Shahir Liew said that the two universities were important partners for each other and there were many potential cooperation fields to exploit in the future. Then, the two sides held a discussion on the key areas of cooperation in the future, such as the Worldwide Energy University Network, organizing joint seminars, and building joint research centers. Finally, the two sides agreed on that the two universities would sign a memorandum of cooperation and an agreement of establishing a joint research center and conducting joint seminars.
