Drilling Engineering
Objectives
This program is designed for students:
(1) To enhance basic theories and skills of drilling, well completion, workover and logging, and establish a solid theoretical foundation for future study and research work.
(2) To gain experience in advanced laboratories by carrying out a variety of experiments.
(3) To be informed of the latest and leading-edge development of the field.
(4) To learn to analyze and solve problems in drilling design and operation using mathematical, physical, chemical and mechanical methods etc.
(5) To be trained as professional personnel who are capable of teaching in colleges and universities and conducting related scientific research.

Duration of Program: 3 years for full-time students, no more than 4 years for half-time and part-time students.
